Go Honey is a wellness and lifestyle brand built around high-quality honey products, crafted for customers who care about clean ingredients, functional benefits, and beautiful presentation. As the brand started to expand beyond word-of-mouth and local awareness, it needed a direct-to-consumer experience that could actually sell—one that made it easy for shoppers to browse flavors, learn about sourcing and benefits, and purchase on any device. To support growth across paid channels, GoHoney also needed a digital foundation that was fast, search-friendly, and built to scale.
Client Challenge
Before our engagement, Go Honey’s online presence wasn’t set up for performance marketing or rapid merchandising. The existing site design was limited and not tailored to the brand’s aesthetic, product storytelling, or upsell strategy. Product pages weren’t dynamic—meaning every new SKU required manual work to add descriptions, media, and benefits—and inconsistent metadata hurt both SEO and ad relevance. On top of that, page speed and technical SEO weren’t optimized, so sending traffic from Google Ads and Meta Ads was more expensive than it needed to be. Email and content efforts existed, but they weren’t tied into a full funnel, so the brand wasn’t capturing and nurturing the traffic it paid to acquire.
The Marz Solution
We rebuilt GoHoney on Shopify with a completely custom theme designed specifically for the brand—clean, product-first, and conversion-focused. We set up structured, product-level metadata so every item can plug into dynamic product page layouts automatically (ingredients, benefits, imagery, bundles, related products), cutting launch time and keeping the catalog consistent. On the technical side, we fully optimized the site for SEO and speed: semantic markup, optimized meta titles and descriptions, compressed media, minified assets, and mobile-first performance so paid traffic lands on a site that actually converts. With the foundation in place, we launched Google Ads and Meta Ads to drive qualified traffic, using the new site structure to improve quality scores and lower acquisition costs. Email marketing and content creation rounded out the funnel—capturing visitors, showcasing new products, and re-engaging past buyers. Together, this gave Go Honey a true growth stack: a fast, search-friendly Shopify storefront + full-funnel acquisition and retention to support ongoing product drops and scaling ad spend.
